March 2026 Astrology
March 2026 astrology is late. I know. But it is always up on time on my channel. The Saturn-Neptune conjunction on February 20th hit hard. It seemed everyone was angry. Mercury is retrograde (flight delays for me this time). And the eclipse, March 3rd, was a doozy.
In past video and blog I noted that a Saturn and Neptune conjunction always bring changes of leadership, ideologies, and usually re-drawing of geo-political borders. I blogged about it also. It was not long that the US and Israel went to war with Iran. The Neptune-Saturn conjunction of 1952-53 brought a change of leadership and ideology in Iran also, when the Shah replaced the Prime Minister in 1953. A Shah is a royal ruler. Iran returned to a monarchy.
The eclipse of March 3rd was in Virgo. What happened in the shadows? The news told us of intensifying conflict and markets reacting. But a lunar eclipse usually marks an ending slowly taking place in the shadows.
Overall March astrology has a lot of setting the foundation to deeply transform and being very in tune with who we are or who we want to be. “I am who I am!” (I thought this was Bugs Bunny, but google says it was God when speaking to Moses. Further search has Popeye often saying “I yam what I yam” Oh, man…too much tv as a kid).
If Pisces is “We’re all one, man”, Aries is “Stay in your lane”. But in this day and age, it isn’t a bad thing to have a strong sense of self. Just rememebr no man is an island (John Donne, and yes I had to google that too).
Moon
The eclipse in Virgo marks the second to last eclipse on the Pisces-Virgo axis. Virgo is related to the 6th house. This is our health and routines. Also jobs, duties, and other responsibilities. It’s where we are of service to others.
A new Moon on the 18th, across in Pisces at 20 degrees, allows is to set intentions with creativity, imaginations and our secret inner world. It’s a good time to make a promise to yourself to set aside ‘quiet time’. So much is thrown at us, constant information, most of it pseudo-information, ideas, opinions. Take the time to unplug and sit in silence.
Venus
Venus spends all month in Aries, from the 6th to the 30th. Venus wants to forge ties, romantic or not. But Mercury is retrograde and all communication is still confused. Venus will also conjunction Neptune and Saturn on arrival. From the 6 to 10th. This can leave us feeling dreamy and elated as Venus dons Neptune’s rose colored glasses, and then isolated and disappointed as Saturn gives Venus the reality check. Relationships won’t measure up to the ideal. And talking it out can lead to more confusion.
Sun
The Sun moves into Aries on the 20th. More than ever self identity is important. Aries is individualistic. This is a good thing: we forge ahead not worrying about what others may think, at the same time a little consideration is nice. But we’ll feel the need to define ourselves by how we present ourselves. Aries and the first is our outer self, how others see us. We want the to know who we are.
Mercury
Mercury’s whole retrograde is Pisces. While he stations direct on March 20th, the cycle only wraps up April 9th. So still expect reversals until then.
Mars
Mars joins Mercury on the 2nd for 6 weeks. This is dicey. Mars wants to forge ahead, but Mercury is making things unclear. People are changing their mind, maybe that’s even you. What’s settle on gets changed up again. Use Mars’s energy to prepare, take notes, do research or behind the scenes work.
Saturn Pluto Sextile
Thee Saturn-Pluto sextile is exact March 28th but runs all month and even into the 1st 3 weeks of April. This is the transformative power of Pluto, which means taking power and having control, meeting the discipline, boundaries and solid structure of Saturn. And in sextile the energy flows.
Saturn is slow and methodical. Pluto is slow and deeply transforming. You can set long term goals that will be reached because the determination is there. Especially those that you strongly identify with. These 2 won’t let anyone or anything stand in their way.
Uranus in Gemini
Uranus won’t move into Gemini until April of 2026. But in the spirit of it leaving Taurus, and the push for freedom Uranus brings, I’ve been rethinking how I show up. This is my 1st house by Sun chart, after all. The channel, the astrology blogs may modify, or cease. There are other topics I want to discuss. I also have the feeling I’ve come full circle, but, hopefully, have moved up a level. (full spiral?). With the planets, it is always about evolving. Be well,
