But how is creativity created? By doing the process. First that means just showing up. You aren’t going to crank out a masterpiece every day. But it’s important to give you craft attention because even if nothing is happening on the physical plane, your mind is thinking and developing.
People worry about writers block or lack of inspiration. I don’t believe in that. The mind will give you what you ask of it. It’s there for you. You’re in charge. Just let it do its cogitating, its creative thing. It’s not a wiener machine, its doesn’t crank out product in a linear fashion.
Are artistic passion and talent separate? Do you have to have talent to have passion for an art-form?
From the moment I first heard of impostor syndrome and started ridding myself of the negative self-talk to selling my art work took 10 days. Coincidence? I think not.
Creativity needs refueling. If you don’t let it, you’ll stall.
