Jupiter in Gemini
Jupiter ingresses into Gemini on May 25th to stay for 1 year, leaving for Cancer on June 9th of 2025. This means Jupiter is in a particular house, for each of us, only once in 12 years. Water signs deal in emotions and feelings; Earth signs are very much in/on the physical plane, grounded in reality. Fire is energy and concerned with identity: how does this fit with me? Air is ideas and concepts and communicating.
What Jupiter in Gemini Means for All of Us
For all of us this is an increase communications and learning. This is what we say and write but also our style of doing so: communication style, thought process as well as inner dialogue. Also our choice of medium. Are you on any platforms? If so which ones? As Marshall McLuan said: “The medium is the message.”
Of course you’ll hear things like ‘this is the time to write your book or start a podcast’. But that’s not all of us. Just as important, this can mean finding your voice, or a new voice. Jupiter is related to the 9th house that sits opposite, as the ruler of Sagittarius: whatever is foreign, higher education, long distance travel. It is mass communication and includes advertising, media and propaganda. It is what is unfamiliar and expands our horizons in terms of beliefs (it includes organized religion) and life outlook It is mind expansion and learning, forging our life outlook.
Communicating and Learning
With Jupiter’s propensity to expand everything, we will see more communications, in different formats, especially online. To me it’s a feeling of everyone finding their space to express freely. But also of a lot more information available.
Gemini loves this. Gemini is fast and compares and is curious. But Jupiter wants to look at everything in a big way: find a truth. Discernment is going to be important.
Gemini is also learning, in terms of technical skills. So I expect more propensity to learn to do something, especially as so much is available now online and free. Increasing our skill set as Scott Adams would say. And it will only grow with Jupiter there. Also if you are thinking about offering tutorials or online classes, go for it!
I’ve also long thought online learning is going to greatly improve. No longer will distance or classroom capacity be a factor. Also, with some courses or tutorials you learn at your own pace, rewatching as much as you want. More options which is very Gemini. Learning is Jupiter.
