June 2024 Astrology
The month starts with a New Moon on the 6th at 18 degrees Gemini. The Moon joins the Sun, Venus and Jupiter in the sign that is all about communication and thinking. That’s a lot of energy that began last month with the Sun and Venus heralding Jupiter’s arrival in Gemini for 1 year. The June 2024 astrology video, for each sing, are on my YouTube.
Jupiter in Gemini

Even is the Sun, Venus and Mercury move into Cancer by the end of the month, Jupiter remains, expanding that area. Expect more online platforms, online learning of skills, and everyone speaking up and out. Gemini is related to the 3rd house, which is not only speaking but style of communication and thought patterns. We may be exploring how and where we speak, not just what we say.
Jupiter trines Pluto from his arrival until the 12th. There’s a feeling of being able to do it all, of being in control. Jupiter is off to a big start, something he can usually manage himself, but now with an added beneficial flow of energy between his placement in Gemini and Pluto in fellow air sign Aquarius.
Pluto
Pluto has been retrograde since May 2nd, grinding down on the first degrees of Aquarius. From 0 to 2 specifically. Really showing us what has to transmute from Capricorn and the 10th house of social structure and strata to Aquarius’ equality and people power. The Met Gala blockout, the Loblaws boycott are examples of this. The Met Gala was May 6th, the Loblaw boycott began May 1st. A planet stationing retrograde, as Pluto did on the 2nd, exerts a tremendous amount of energy. The last Capricorn to Aquarius shift of Pluto saw the American and French revolution. Interestingly, the MeT Gala blockout was a reaction to an gust repeating Marie Antoinette’s famous words: “Let them eat cake.” The cycle repeats. I have a short (aren’t they all) TikTok on this, that explains it concisely. Not my best work-first time trying a stitch-but you’ll get the idea.
Sun, Venus and Mercury
Venus and Mercury arrive in Cancer on the 17th, in conjunction. Venus and Mercury conjunct means all you say will be tinted by Venus’ charm and desire to forge ties. Mercury is chatty and quick. Definitely good energy for socializing and romancing. Also for cozy vibes on the home front. If you have to ask for something, a raise, a favor, you can think on your feet while being smooth and diplomatic at the same time. You’ll be presenting win-win situations that are hard to refuse. The Sun arrives on the 20th, adding more focus and energy. Remember to watch the monthly videos for where this takes place for your sign.
Mars
Mars arrives in Taurus on the 9th, and will square Pluto from the 9th to the 15th. This is harsh energy. Mars is aggression, Pluto is control and power. This can show up in confrontations, power plays, and the desire to win at all costs. There’s ruthless ambition as Mars like to win, and can be even more risk taking as a consequence.
Pluto sits in Aquarius and is about the groups, the people at the bottom of the pyramid and humanitarianism. Mars in Taurus will bring in issues over land, farmers, food and also banks and money. Taurus is resources both monetary and physical. Watch for this to play out in the collective.
Full Moon
The Moon is full on the 21st at 1 degree of Capricorn. The Full Moon always makes everyone more emotional. We react more and more easily. But in Capricorn, ruled by strict Saturn, we may censor our feelings. It’s one thing to be over reactive, but another not to express yourself at all.
Saturn
Saturn stations retrograde on the 29th. Saturn is halfway through Pisces, providing some structure where Neptune has been blurring and and all boundaries. Things that have seemed foggy or have just slipped away, will get clarity with Saturn. People and situations that have seemed all over the place, not respecting limits or having not parameters will get some. Whatever house this is for you, both move off into Aries in 2025-2026.
